1215MS free-cutting steel bars are low-carbon steel alloys containing sulfur and manganese, offering excellent machinability. carbon content of 1215MS is typically between 0.12% and 0.18%, with the addition of sulfur and manganese providing good chip breaking during machining, reducing heat generation, and extending tool life. It is widely used for producing small precision parts, such as automotive components and mechanical fittings.
